Oral presentation

Oral presentations are 20 minutes including discussion. The time span allows you to focus your talk on the main results, but not to present detailed derivations.

There will be an author’s breakfast in Georg Sverdrups hus at 8:00 to 9:00 for those having an oral presentation that day. At this breakfast you will meet the session leader and the other presenters in your session.  As an oral presenter you are expected to attend the speeker’s  breakefast, since this will help the session leader to introduce your talk. 

The presentations should be uploaded to our server as soon as possible. Preferably, the presentations should be uploaded they day before, or in the morning the same day.  Presentations are uploaded in the room next to the main auditorium in Georg Sverdrups hus. Both pdf’s and Powerpoint presentations can be used. If you use embedded movies please be careful to check that it works on the computer used for the presentation. Also note that it can be an advantage to include fonts in the presentation-file since experience has shown that special symbols can be misprinted if you rely on local fonts.

Poster presentation

The posters are placed in the basement of Georg Sverdrups hus. This is where the coffee is served. The poster stands are available from Monday so we suggest that you install the poster Monday or before lunch on Tuesday. You are expected to be available at your poster after lunch on Tuesday.

The poster width is 96 cm and the height is 138 cm. The total height of the wall is 210 cm.
