We hereby invite you to Oslo in the spring 2012 to learn about and discuss the latest developments in geostatistics and spatial statistics. We will see a wide range of theoretical advances and a series of applied advances within petroleum, mining, environment, climate and hydrology. There are many challenges concerning fundamental theoretical problems, new methods and algorithms, as well as practical issues in the many application of statistics to natural phenomena. We will see improvements of established methods as well as new and innovative methods and applications. Of equal importance is to meet colleagues and students working in these fields.

Oslo is at its best in June and we are confident you will enjoy your time there.
